Super late update... internet is giving me trouble. Hopefully I stay on long enough to get this posted =) Great day for everyone! Julia had an awesome day at the hospital - she went on a long walk and then got to do a "live" FaceTime with us; and Charlene, Joshua, Gabriel and I went to the Red Corner Benefit to support this year's childhood cancer family. Medically, Julia has been just fine =) Normal grouches in the morning, but nice and happy after her afternoon nap. Only one major barf today... so I guess that's improvement. After her nap Julia got into her stroller and went for an awesome walk all around the hospital! She was waving at everyone, and pointing to things, and making her O face. She loved seeing all the kids pictures on the wall, and she really liked the colorful artwork. She was probably just super happy to be out and about with daddy =) And I guess they went across the skybridge to another building, and, in Reed's words, they found, "the most convoluted, overly-exaggerated two story wheelchair ramp". He's unsure if it's legit... or if they went out of their way to make it crazy looking. But apparently Julia LOVED it. It was like a Julia roller-coaster! She did real big smiles and claps, and her hand-over-her-mouth laugh. Reed didn't get a picture of video, so I don't really know what he's talking about, but he said they'll try to go back tomorrow. She had a GREAT time there! Then she got back to the room and was nice and happy, so we FaceTimed her from the Red Corner Benefit. It's the first time we did any sort of FaceTime out in public, and she loved it! More waving and pointing and lots of O face. She watched Gabriel toddler around, playing with hola-hoops and bean bags, and she clapped for him the whole time. Lots of people recognized us, either from my Julia shirt, or Gabriel, or seeing her on my phone, so many people got to say hi to Julia. It was really great =) I kept her on FaceTime for quite a while, then finally I looked at the screen and she was sleeping. She played herself right out. And I have to talk about this event for a minute - WOW. It's apparently the third Saturday in October, and they do it every year. This is the first year we went and it's AMAZING. Everything is included in the ticket price - food, drinks, desserts, crafts, games with prizes, petting zoo, tons of music. The only thing extra was the raffle (which was amazing). And I was so shocked at how well is was executed, given that it's 100% run by volunteers. If you guys are local - you have to go next year. It's such a nice day out with the family and it's for a great cause. This is the same organization that assisted with the Christmas event the local police department did for Julia last year (that post of mine should be around December 16th) - speaking of which, we're going to get involved with this year's recipient, and I can't wait to tell you guys about it because I know so many of you will want to help <3 I'll post details about that in a few days =) ~~~~

I have several videos... but my internet just keeps kicking me off, so I'm going to try to get at least this one posted in the comments from Julia's stroll, and I'll combine more into tomorrow's post. But super awesome day for everyone. It was so nice seeing Julia so happy <3 <3 <3

Meet Julia Adams
I'm 3 years old and I have a rare and serious form of childhood bone cancer. I'm doing my best to beat it, but my family needs your help!
