No new information. Friday is still expected, but we’re told we should know Thursday IF Friday will have some results. Other than being scared of all the nurses, she’s starting to do normal toddler things again. She’s doing lots of coloring and even went to an art class. She was the youngest there... but not the smallest. It was heartbreaking to see her in a room full of child cancer patients 😞 I felt bad for everyone and just knowing this could be her reality. We talked with the social worker today who will work with us as far as additional insurances and maybe financial assistance if the diagnosis is unfavorable, so that’s at least some relief. We’ve been reassured again that just because she’s in oncology it doesn’t mean it’s definitely cancer. Their neurology patients are also staged here, and oncology deals with all brain / spine tumors, whether cancerous or benign. Trying to hold into hope but it’s so hard when everything medically has been worst case scenario for me these last few years.
