Short update. The surgeon said the breathing tube switch went just fine, and they are happy with how well everything is healing so far. They expect to have her woken up within the next few days. Reed and I will be going to our appointment tomorrow to discuss treatment. We're going to visit her, but we'll use all the germ-precautions they have at the door (gown, mask, gloves). We won't be staying with her yet just because we're still sick. But I hope to have an update and some more pix tomorrow.
