Julia had a nice quiet day today =) She's resting comfortably, and only threw up once.  Her meds have been really bothering her stomach the last week or so, but they seem to have found a good balance of anti-nausea meds and spacing the other ones out.  Vitals are good.  Heart rate 120s, ET low 50s, BP 111/68.

PT is coming back on Monday to re-evaluate her (again).  OT has been in several times this week, and they're really just focusing on some upper body range of motion, and making sure everything on the left side still feels good after the stroke.  So far no concerns there.  There is talk about transferring her to the Progressive Care Unit (PCU).  That's one step down from the PICU, and it's more focused on trachs, gtubes, and respiratory.  But she has to be in a private room due to chemo, and they only have 2 of those, so it might be a short wait.

She opened her eyes nice a big today!  The left one was all the way open for the first time, and even the right one got about half way =) The pupil on the right is still not reacting to light, and the eyeball doesn't seem to be moving like the left - it just kind of stares forward.  We have no idea if she can see out of it, but she does seem to try to point it at her cartoons.

She's doing a really great job with moving her hands and feet!  Her left hand (the bad hand) moved a LOT today.  She was petting her stuffed animal on that side, just like she's been petting her tiger with her right =) She's moving her entire right leg, up to the thigh - still minimal, but better than yesterday already.  Toe wiggles on the left, but improved. And her right hand is actually starting to regain some grip strength; she can now hold onto our hand so when we lift our hand, hers goes with it.  That's new =)  And she's shaking her head no, and nodding it yes, which is AWESOME!

She REALLY looks forward to FaceTime with Aunt Charlene and her baby brother.  We get a very clear head nod when we ask if she wants to call them.  And we got a few giggle-motions out of her today.  Still no smile, but the giggles were definitely giggles.  I'll try to get a video of that soon!  Tonight they FaceTimed for just about an hour before she finally fell asleep <3
