Day 5 of 5 for chemo. Just completed round 9 - 3 more to go. She's about as expected. Very tired, very cranky, super aggravated. She always goes back on the steroid during chemo, so this is one of her worst days - final day of infusions + the anger from the steroid. She's pretty much refused (or been unable) to nap all day. No barfing at all though! So that's great =)
She's hitting her lowest point right now, and will stay here for about a week. Right now it's mostly due to meds; in a few days it will be mostly due to low counts. So just a crappy week coming up. Hopefully she gets through it with no excitement.
But, she's found times to be happy. She played with her teacups and practiced stirring. (That lasted about 5 minutes, then she just threw the spoons on the floor.) She's obsessed with the pulse-ox monitor on her big toe. If it's on her right foot, she can now reach down and unwrap it, with quite a bit of 'talking'. She can't easily get it off her left foot, but at least it's a good core workout with the twisting. And she's SUPER vocal when Peppa comes on! I like to think she's trying to talk to her <3
While driving around doing errands, I passed Freddy's and saw Julia's sign up <3 If you're local (PA: Downingtown / West Chester / Phoenixville) bring your family and friends to dinner Monday between 4:00-8:00! Mention "Julia" and she gets a portion of sales =)

Video in comments: Short clip from 2 years ago in July - Julia and grandpa <3 and one from today. You can see that her eyes are doing GREAT - they are in sync, and tracking, and they can both cross mid-line again. The right eyelid is still kind of stuck open, but other than that, everyone's very happy with their crazy-good improvement since January!
