Super late update tonight. Gabriel was over, with Aunt Charlene's family and Manny. Charlene was coming over to help clean... but that didn't happen. Instead we ended up just having a really nice time playing games, and Gabriel colored on pretty much everything. I didn't realize it was after 11 until it was after 11. Then everyone promptly excused themselves so I could do this update. They all know 11:00 is my deadline or people start getting worried =)
Julia's had a pretty OK day - better than yesterday. They did another round of Lasix to try to get off some of the fluid, and it pulled out another 300+ml. Both the nurse and Reed think she looks a little less swollen today, but not by a lot. I guess it's better than being worse. She's been very comfortable. And she's wiggled her toes and the fingers of her right hand a few times. But lots of sleeping. They are discussing another xray to check how the fluid near her lung looks, as it hasn't been drained in about a week.
So that's it. Just a short update so everyone know she's as OK as she can be right now. I'm actually headed to the hospital shortly to spend some time with her. She's a night owl so it doesn't matter that it's midnight. And maybe I won't sit in traffic for 1.5 hours.
