Still taking in the news from yesterday. The good news made me exhausted, which I thought was an odd response. I was just so tired. Maybe it's relief from so much anxiety for so long. She's got a LONG way to go, and this is far from beat... but it's just amazing and wonderful that she's headed in the right direction after where she was. ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍

It looks like she'll be in treatment for the long haul (no details yet). I just hope the alternative treatments we're doing assist the chemo in speeding this along, so she needs less of it, and also helps strengthen her body to fight off and survive the cancer (AND the chemo). And as a reminder, or info for Julia's new followers, the 3 alternative treatments we've been doing since terminal diagnosis are: CBD Oil - very high dose (way higher than a 'recommended' serving). The link to where I currently buy it is in the footer of all my posts. Rick Simpson Oil (THC) - a high dose. And a PEMF therapy mat (that's the pillow under her head / the control panel that makes an appearance in some pictures). There are a few other treatments under consideration, but these are the 3 we've been doing since about January 7th. I am happy to answer any questions about these treatments, or even better, point you toward people who actually know what they're talking about. ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍

She's had a good day. Vitals fine. A little spit-up but not a lot. Reed took a nap with her today, and he woke up to her having scooched completely off her pillow and snuggled right up against him <3 She's also trying to use her legs to turn over toward him - even the nurse saw it. She's not there yet, but she's definitely trying. Motivated baby! ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍

Two videos in comments today! They moved Julia's iPad up a bit and straight in front of her, so she works on looking straight ahead (her left eye prefers to rest inward), and she gets to practice moving her WHOLE arm to control it. She's doing GREAT!! Look at her arm strength! ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍

-- And Julia received yet another amazing, thoughtful gift. It is called diamond art, and I've not seen anything like it before. The note said that this was the first picture they saw of Julia, and the one that made them fall in love with her <3 <3 I thought a video showed off the details and glitters more than a picture =) ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍

(Julia has received SEVERAL other amazingly thoughtful, hand-made, time-consuming gifts that I have he opportunity to share (but appreciate just the same!) I have a bunch of stuff upstairs with the hope of re-decorating her bedroom, and then I'd like to share a video of it so you can all see all the beautiful things you've sent on her walls. So I hope everyone's thoughtful arts and crafts and paintings and pictures do make an appearance soon - especially now that I can take a breath of relief and possibly dedicate some time to this project <3 <3 <3) ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍

I've said it before, but it needs to be said again - I wish I had the time to write personal thank you notes to everyone who sends Julia's things. I know you don't do it for any sort of recognition... but it's all very thoughtful. I imagine people standing in the card aisle picking something out for Julia, or ordering a cute Peppa Pig thing online, or spending HOURS on a project just for her. Thank you <3 <3 <3
