Rough visit with Julia today. Just lots of puking. They started chemo again, so she's extra miserable =( It will run all week, and then she'll start the recovery boosters. Vitals are fine, even though she's miserable. They're going to talk about other options for her nausea - it might be an adjustment to her gtube or another form of nutrition. They'll discuss it tomorrow at rounds. ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍

She was up until 11am with Reed - just not feeling well. They slept from 11-3, so they're both really tired. She's in an out of naps now, but she keeps getting bothered. Chemo days are extra busy with nurses. ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍

Charlene and I didn't know she started chemo today, so we brought down a surprise... Baby brother! They haven't seen each other in person since early January (before her first round of treatment), and they were VERY HAPPY <3 They both kept waving, and high fiving (Gabriel was a bit over-enthusiastic on the high-fives!) Then Julia laughed and laughed as brother got attacked by one of the Peppa Pigs Julia's Facebook friend sent =) ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍

Reed was also really happy to see Gabriel. They got lots of cuddles, and Reed spent a good 20 minutes chasing him through the halls. And the nurses were happy to see him too - so far they've only seen his cute face through FaceTime. ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍

So Julia had a great time seeing Gabriel when he got here. But she might have gotten herself worked up, and then all the barfing started. Now she's laying there looking rather miserable =( Aunt Charlene is rubbing her hand and they're watching cartoons. She's calming down. They just gave her some more meds that usually make her sleepy, so hopefully in a few minutes here she'll doze off and get some rest. ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍
